Using art, drama, music, movement, sand-play, puppetry, clay, poetry or any creative medium can build on a child’s emotional resilience, social skills, strengthening identity and a sense of self.

My approach is informed by attachment theory, cognitive, social and affective neuroscience drawing from Dan Hughes’ PACE model, Dan Siegal, The Whole Brain Child, and the science of relationships, creativity and resilience.  



I begin with a parent consultation, to identify the needs of the child and, where necessary, I may suggest a further referral, with awareness of multidisciplinary practice.  I also provide ongoing parent review sessions with respect to the child.


Weekly sessions of 50 mins can be on-going in a long-term capacity, supporting the child over a period of time, or time limited in which a specific issue can be addressed.


Given the nature of the work, it is important not to end sessions abruptly.  At least three weeks notice is required 


Initial consultation with parent / carer is free, however subsequent parental meetings are charged at £20 for one-hour meeting.


Initial assessment / meeting with child or young person is £50 and subsequent individual sessions are £40 per session.  


Block booking of pre booked sessions over a period of 6 weeks is £220; 10 weeks is £375 with payment in advance.


Payment is via BACS or cash.
